Hike 5ive is run by the two of us — brothers, and immigrants from Iraq. For most of our lives we lived through war and hardship, holding on to the hope of something better. When the opportunity came to travel to Australia, it felt like the first page of a new chapter — and this is where our dream truly began.
We made a promise to ourselves: to seize every single moment and invest it in building the life we once only imagined. The mountains, falls, and forests of Victoria gave us a place to breathe, to heal, and to feel free. The trails reminded us how far we'd come — and how much further we still want to go.
